Welcome Christena Baker, LICSW

Help us welcome Christena Baker, LICSW, to the Stepping Stones team. Chris is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and Mental Health Therapist. She has worked in the social services field for 40 years. She has experience working with children, teens, and adults in a variety of settings, offering therapy services to individuals and families.

Chris focuses on helping her clients feel comfortable by providing a safe place to find solutions that are right for each individual so they can live the life they want. Chris attended Nebraska Wesleyan University to earn her Bachelor’s in Social Work and Sociology and obtained a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Nebraska, Omaha.

Married for 36 years, Chris and her husband have two children and two grandchildren. She spends her free time gardening and she loves international travel with her family. She always looks forward to coming home to Lincoln, Nebraska where she grew up.

Chris is able to accept a variety of insurance providers, including Medicare and Medicaid, and offers both in-office and HIPAA compliant TeleHealth therapy services.
